Job Title: Commercial & Industrial Heating Division Manager

Hevac Limited is one of Ireland's leading domestic, commercial & industrial plumbing & heating specialists. We operate in offices and warehouse facilities in Dublin and Cork. We are a leading supplier of commercial heating and ventilation, capital plant and supplier of plumbing & heating components to the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. We provide to our customer’s in-house specialists services including design engineers, CAD technicians and system specialists. The focus of Hevac Limited is to provide quality systems that offer maximum efficiency and comfort.

We are looking for a Commercial & Industrial Heating Division Manager to lead and develop our Commercial & Industrial Heating Division at our Head Office in Dublin on a permanent full-time basis.  Reporting to the Board of Directors, this is an extremely exciting and progressive role which will include the below as some of your key responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the product portfolio of the commercial and industrial heating division.
  • Manage the efficient daily operation of the division & staff development.
  • Liaise and work closely with the external sales and specification team.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of our product portfolio, liaising with suppliers and attending regular training and upskilling sessions provided by suppliers and within the company.
  • Ensure prompt and professional handling of all division sales enquiries monitoring effectiveness of price policies and price review mechanisms.
  • Leverage existing industry knowledge and contacts, develop and implement strategies to generate new business.
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service.
  • Work as part of the Hevac management team to achieve the company’s goals.

Essential Requirements:

  • Third level degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • At least 2 years’ experience at a similar level within the industry.
  • Good knowledge of the commercial heating industry and product portfolio.
  • Highly effective people management and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written along with an ability to communicate ideas, concepts and projects clearly and positively.
  • A proven ability in business development and relationship management.

Technical Sales Engineer – Commercial & Industrial Heating Division

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our Commercial & Industrial Heating division at our Head Office in Dublin on a permanent full-time basis.  We are looking for a flexible, driven and dynamic individual that possesses a blend of sales ability and technical knowledge with a keen interest to learn and grow within the business.  You will be working as part of a busy and dynamic Commercial & Industrial Heating Sales and Specification team, interacting with customers, suppliers, consulting engineers and other team members.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing quotations and technical submittals of heating plant for building services projects with consultant engineers and our mechanical contractor customer base.
  • Update and follow-up of our CRM system for projects.
  • Process and tracking orders and maintaining close communication with customers from order date to delivery of goods and after sales support if required.
  • Provide support and assistance to our customer base.
  • Work within a motivated sales & technical team to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide support to the external Sales Team.

Requirements:

  • Engineering diploma, degree or a knowledge of the HVAC industry would be an advantage.
  • The ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
  • Be sales & customer focused.
  • The ability to perform within a busy office environment.

Job Title: Group Technical Support Specialist

We are looking for a Group Technical Support Specialist to join our team at our Head Office in Dublin on a permanent full-time basis.  In this role your communication skills will be an essential asset and you will have responsibility for delivery of high-quality customer service and solutions.  The role will be primarily office based at our Head Office in Dublin 12, with limited onsite technical support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical support, fault-finding and troubleshooting assistance to our customer base and service network on our complete product portfolio.
  • Organising and maintaining our CRM system for technical customer support, warranty, plant demo/handover and commissioning/service with our service sub-contractors.
  • Administration of service and installation sub-contractors.

Requirements:

  • Previous Technical Support role and/or HVAC Commission/Service experience
  • Heat Pump commissioning, service or installation experience
  • Technical understanding of HVAC Plant and Controls
  • Excellent English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Be computer literate and able to perform basic paperwork and record keeping.
  • Have a flexible approach to work.
  • A full, clean driving licence.

Desirable & Beneficial Requirements:

  • HVAC Service Technician
  • An Electrical qualification.
  • Plumbing qualification and/or experience.
