JOB TITLE: Technical Sales Engineer

LOCATION: Naas Road

REPORTING TO: The Commercial & Industrial Manager

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Commercial & Industrial team based on the Naas Road. You will be a flexible, driven and dynamic individual. You will possess a blend of sales ability and technical knowledge that enables you to manage customer expectations. Reporting to the Commercial & Industrial Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing quotations and technical submittals of building services projects with consultants and our customer base.
  • Update and follow up our CRM system for projects and commissioning/service.
  • Preparing quotations for our Flue supply and installation offer
  • Project manage installations with our Flue Installation team.
  • Process and tracking orders and maintaining close communication with customer from order date to delivery of goods and after sales support if required.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to our customer base on our complete product portfolio.
  • Organising commissioning and service/warranty calls with our subcontractors.
  • Processing invoices from service subcontractors.
  • Work within a motivated sales & technical team to achieve sales targets.

Requirements:

  • A Building Services Engineering Qualification or similar equivalent.
  • The ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
  • Be sales & customer focused.
  • The ability to perform within a busy office environment.
  • Knowledge of the heating & plumbing industry would be an advantage.
  • 24 months+ experience in a similar role

JOB TITLE: Internal Sales, Domestic Heating

LOCATION:                                         Naas Road

REPORTING TO:                                Domestic Heating & Plumbing Division Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Person to join our Domestic Heating & Plumbing division.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the business, who is extremely customer-focused, results driven and wants to work within a motivated sales team.  The right candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be capable of communicating effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.  This is an office-based role at our Head Office in Dublin 12. 

Responsibilities:

  • Generating customer quotations and follow-up of same.
  • Dealing with customer calls and enquiries to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Cold-calling potential customers.
  • Provide assistance to our customer base.
  • Provide support to the external Sales Team.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management.

Requirements:

  • 24 months+ experience in a similar role.
  • Computer literate and proficient using MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
  • The ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
  • Be sales & customer focused.
  • The ability to perform within a busy office environment.
  • Knowledge of the heating & plumbing industry would be a distinct advantage.

Internal Sales Support

LOCATION:                                         Naas Road, Dublin 12

CONTRACT TYPE:                             Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Hevac Limited is one of Ireland's leading domestic, commercial & industrial plumbing & heating specialists. We operate in offices and warehouse facilities in Dublin and Cork. We supply every plumbing & heating component imaginable to the residential, commercial and industrial sectors and can offer in-house specialists including design engineers, CAD technicians and system specialists. Due to the continued expansion of our business, we are looking to fill two sales support roles to add to the existing sales team across our Domestic and Industrial divisions. Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure full knowledge of all existing and new products.
  • General administration duties.

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma, degree or a knowledge of the heating & plumbing industry is preferable but not essential.
  • The ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office would be an advantage.

JOB TITLE: Trade Counter Sales Person

LOCATION:                           Naas Road

BUSINESS ENTITY:             Hevac Group

REPORTING TO:                  Operations Manager

Overall purpose of the Counter Sales role:

The counter sales person is responsible for serving customers at the trade counter and collections areas as part of a collections team. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness of the counter areas and stock replenishment in a variety of areas.

Above all this is a sales role and high levels of customer service and salesmanship are expected.

This is a hands-on role reporting to the Operations Manager.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Serving customers at the trade counter and collection areas.
  • Packing orders for collection and delivery.
  • Replenishment of stock locations.
  • Ensuring that all sales and returns are properly documented and adhere to company processes.
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping of counter areas and “front of house”
  • Cycle counting in conjunction with the Stock Controller.
  • Checking in and putting away deliveries from suppliers

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Key Responsibilities of Counter Sales Role:

  • Ensuring all customers who present at the trade counter and collections areas are dealt with in a prompt and friendly manner.
  • Ensuring that all sales and returns are processed on the K8 computer system in accordance with current processes and pricing.
  • Keep up to date with new products stocked in the store.
  • To be sales and service focussed.
  • Adhere to health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management.
