Job Title: Commercial & Industrial Division Manager

CONTRACT TYPE:                   Permanent Full-Time

LOCATION:                               Head Office, Muirfield Drive, Naas Road, Dublin 12

Hevac Limited is one of Ireland's leading domestic, commercial & industrial plumbing and heating specialists.  Along with our partner companies – Tube Company of Ireland, Polytherm, Origen Energy Ltd. and Aluminox - we are dedicated to providing excellent technical support to our customers. 

As part of that commitment, we are looking for a Commercial & Industrial Manager to join our valued team at our Head Office in Dublin 12.  Reporting to the Board of Directors, this is an extremely exciting and progressive role which will include the below as some of your key responsibilities:

  • Leading, planning, monitoring and directing the completion of projects while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget and within scope.
  • Develop and manage products within the division with a particular focus on HVAC product development.
  • Manage the Commercial & Industrial Division to include recruitment & selection, training & development and performance management of a team of Engineers.
  • Liaise and work closely with the external sales and specification team.
  • Generate and develop new and existing business and revenue growth to meet sales targets from Mechanical Contractors nationwide.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of our product portfolio, liaising with suppliers and attending regular training and upskilling sessions provided by suppliers and within the company.
  • Attend and represent the Company at key trade events that maximise sales opportunities.
  • Ensure prompt and professional handling of all division sales enquiries monitoring effectiveness of price policies and price review mechanisms.
  • Leverage existing industry knowledge and contacts, identify new business, follow up leads, develop and implement strategies to generate new sales from existing Mechanical Contractors.
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service.
  • Work as part of the management team to achieve the company’s goals.
Essential Requirements:
  • Third level degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the Mechanical & Building Services Industry.
  • A proven track record of experience in the HVAC Industry supply chain.
  • Good knowledge of the commercial heating industry and product portfolio.
  • Highly effective people management and team leadership skills.
  • Be able to thrive in an environment where there can be simultaneously many projects running at the same time.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written along with an ability to communicate ideas, concepts and projects clearly and positively.
  • A proven ability in business development and relationship management.
  • A full, clean driving licence.

Desirable & Beneficial Requirements:                       

  • Project Management qualification and/or experience.
