Technical Sales Engineer – Commercial & Industrial Heating Division

Hevac Limited is one of Ireland's leading domestic, commercial & industrial plumbing & heating specialists. We operate in offices and warehouse facilities in Dublin and Cork. We are a leading supplier of commercial heating and ventilation, capital plant and supplier of plumbing & heating components to the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. We provide to our customer’s in-house specialists services including design engineers, CAD technicians and system specialists. The focus of Hevac Limited is to provide quality systems that offer maximum efficiency and comfort.

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our Commercial & Industrial Heating division at our Head Office in Dublin on a permanent full-time basis.  We are looking for a flexible, driven and dynamic individual that possesses a blend of sales ability and technical knowledge with a keen interest to learn and grow within the business.  You will be working as part of a busy and dynamic Commercial & Industrial Heating Sales and Specification team, interacting with customers, suppliers, consulting engineers and other team members.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing quotations and technical submittals of heating plant for building services projects with consultant engineers and our mechanical contractor customer base.
  • Update and follow-up of our CRM system for projects.
  • Process and tracking orders and maintaining close communication with customers from order date to delivery of goods and after sales support if required.
  • Provide support and assistance to our customer base.
  • Work within a motivated sales & technical team to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide support to the external Sales Team.

Requirements:

  • Engineering diploma, degree or a knowledge of the HVAC industry would be an advantage.
  • The ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
  • Be sales & customer focused.
  • The ability to perform within a busy office environment.

Internal Sales Support - Santry

LOCATION:                               Santry, Dublin

CONTRACT TYPE:                   Permanent Full-Time

REPORTING TO:                      The Branch Manager, Santry

We are looking for an Internal Sales Representative to work within our busy sales team in Santry handling sales enquiries, dealing with our customer base and resolving queries. 

Duties will include customer service, selling heating and plumbing products, systems and solutions with additional responsibility for expanding our customer base.  The appropriate candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ sales experience, ideally within the heating and plumbing materials sector, a proven track record in achieving targets and delivering results, be extremely customer focused and results-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing accounts effectively.
  • Maximise sales by up-selling and cross-selling to existing and new customers.
  • Ensuring knowledge of all existing and new products.
  • Ensuring all customers are dealt with in a prompt and friendly manner.
  • Ensuring that all sales are processed on our ERP system, K8, in accordance with current processes and pricing.
  • Provide support to the external Sales Team.
  • Address queries from other divisions within the business in a timely and efficient manner, e.g., invoice and stock queries.
  • Work to an annual sales target.
  • Offer best-in-class customer service.
  • Provide cover on the Trade Counter during busy periods and/or staff absence.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management.

Requirements:

  • 24 months+ experience in a similar role.
  • Computer literate and proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A good knowledge on all technical aspects, connection requirements, outputs etc and supplier ordering requirements.
  • The ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
  • Be sales & customer focused.
  • The ability to perform within a busy office environment.
  • Knowledge of the heating & plumbing industry would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of K8 (Kerridge) or similar ERP system would also be an advantage.
