Since 1974 Hevac has been at the forefront of new technologies and has been responsible for many new trends within the industry. For example in the 80’s Hevac was the first to introduce Solder Ring fittings into the market, with the now famous brand “Triflow”. In the 90’s the formation of Polytherm Heating Systems saw the creation of a market leader in Underfloor Heating, when it wasn’t so fashionable. Soon after we introduced Heat Pump technology for the first time in Ireland on a reasonable scale.
In 1990 from the Pipes, Fittings and Valves Division of Hevac, Tube Company of Ireland was formed. Tube Company has since become the market leader in the stockholding and distribution of pipes, valves, fittings and accessories for the Mechanical Services Sector, Fabricators Sector and Fire Protection Industry.
Hevac’s reputation has always been one of strength in respect of the scope and diversity of our product portfolio and is also complimented by a work force representing vast experience, practical know how and technical excellence. Hevac have always retained the services of many fully qualified building services engineers in house and work hand in hand with engineers and contractors on all manner of projects from design phase through to installation and final commissioning. Hevac, through our vast product range and in conjunction with our sister Companies offer an unrivalled design and supply capability on projects from residential schemes through to large industrial steam systems to district heating and other renewable energy projects.
