Wilo Carus - Automatic air vent

Description:

• The cap of the Wilo-Carus Super is conical in shape. The advantage of this construction is that the clearance between the water level and venting valve is maximized. ƒ The air escape duct can be opened or closed with an adjusting screw. ƒ The venting valve forms an integral part of the cap, so that it is impossible to damage the float vent mechanism from outside. ƒ Suitable for addition of glycol-based anti-freeze up to 50 %. ƒ Minimum/maximum working temperature: -10 °C / 120 °C. ƒ Minimum/maximum working pressure: 0.2 / 10.0 bar.
• The Cairus Airvent unit is designed for air or gas venting in domestic and commercial closed heating and chilled water circuits. The air-venting unit discharges air bubbles continuously and has to be installed at the highest position in the system.Thanks to the high efficient type of float venting units the system efficiency, service life of pumps, control devices and valves will be considerably extended.
