Job Title: Specification Sales Manager

The Role:

The Specification Sales Manager is responsible for developing and growing business with new and existing customers by working closely with key engineering and design consultants to identify the solutions from our exclusive range of products that meet the needs of a project.

The Person:

You will be a Level 8 Engineer ideally with 5+ years’ experience in the building services industry. You will be responsible for enhancing the profile of our company and key product groups as well as increasing specification and supporting the sales of our products. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a good knowledge of the current mechanical standards and building regulations (F&L) within Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the company values at all times.
• Knowledge and understanding of HVAC Industry.
• Understand technical requirements, legislation and CIBSE guides relevant to our products and be capable of specifying optimum solutions.
• Manage the specifications of Hevac Group Products with our clients. This includes maintaining and growing relationships within Consultant and Specifying Engineering professionals.
• Liaise between the Consultancy Design Team, Client, and Contractor.

• Understand and be responsive to client needs including providing onsite assistance.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage the issuing of our Technical Submittals.
• Detailed review of specialist supplier packages for compliance with project specification and meet applicable industry standards.
• Assist client and consultant with handover demonstrations and handover documentation.
• Support the Engineering and Sales teams within the business and work closely with the Group Sales Manager to maximise opportunities.
• Delivery of CPD’s to Specification Engineers.
• Represent the company at trade shows, supplier visits and other trade events.
• Ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships at all levels.
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management.

Requirements:

• A level 8 Building Services degree or similar.
• An ability to review drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with the applicable standards and industry guides.
• Be able to work to tight deadlines and deliver projects on time.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Candidates must have the right to work and live in the Republic of Ireland.
