Clivet

Clivet in 35 years of activity in the design, production and distribution of air-conditioning and air handling systems with high efficiency and minimum environmental impact, has developed its proposal for sustainable comfort and wellbeing for the individual and the environment.

Founded in Feltre, Belluno (Italy), in 1989, the company began its activity with the production of chillers and heat pumps and then continued over the years with the development of innovative specialised systems based on rooftop units, water loop systems, and systems dedicated to residential applications. In 2016, thanks to the industrial alliance with the MIDEA group, Clivet completed its offer by integrating it with VRF, SINGLE/MULTI Split products and Midea technologies. In terms of turnover, 2023 closed with a 25% increase over the previous year, from 2019 the growth was 129%. The perspectives for the future are very positive with the goal in the coming years to exceed 500 million in turnover.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Research and development of year-round air-conditioning solutions with innovative technologies have been in Clivet's DNA since its foundation, allowing the company to be always ready for the future. 8 test rooms for residential units and 6 test rooms for medium-large units allow functional, performance, acoustic, vibration and stress tests to be carried out under real conditions. In the Clivet Innovation Centre, units with new refrigerants up to 2 MW can be tested at air temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. Customers have the opportunity to witness the tests

Clivet have always viewed green heat pump technology, which draws energy from the environment (air, ground or water) and returns it as fresh air or heating, to be strategic. A heat pump can be integrated with all forms of renewable energy produced, and is therefore useful in the increasingly current perspective of balancing the mains power supply.

The efficiency of our systems is crucial: we develop solutions that maximise the overall energy efficiency in the annual operating cycle through innovative and patented technologies.
Many of our products use Multiscroll and inverter technologies.

For air renewal, we have created a system using heat pump technology to perform thermodynamic energy recovery; furthermore, the user is ensured a high standard of air quality with our innovative filters.

Clivet already has a full range of products with low GWP (Global Warming Potential), i.e. low environmental impact, and continues developing technologies with zero environmental impact.
